The wind whistled and shook the sky town. The vibrations and creaks of the metal woke me up. I sat there and rubbed my head till I figured out where I was again. It was quiet. I looked around and realized the bounty hunter was gone. My eyes looked left and right, up and down frantically.  
"Hello?" I popped my head out of the hole. The sky was still purple and stormy and it seemed to get darker every hour since Ridley escaped. Walking outside in the open was a stupid idea, but I did anyways. If I were to lose the bounty hunter, I would have regret and remorse the rest of my living days, which I didn't know Heart Beat - Ch. 5

I found a platform at the end of the floating pathway I took. The thunder rumbled the town and lightning roared at me. The sky turned dark purple, almost indigo already. I saw the large, thick clouds rotate everywhere above the place. I looked down bellow and saw the gaping bliss. It looked like the town was just moving with the storm. I shivered from the thought of falling. I wasn't always scared of heights but I have never seen a sight quite like this before. I pulled myself together and looked for the smoke from my air craft, to where I could find my way around. The sky was too dark to see it.

The jet easily passed the last layer of the atmosphere and flew smoothly beyond that point. I was amazed to see all the beautiful stars and planets. I never thought I would go into space in all my life...I never thought I would still be living 2,000 years into the future either. The recording in the jet started to talk to me again.  "Speed: 5,000 light years per minute." This just about blew my mind! It didn't feel like it nor did it look like it. Was that even possible? I guess in the future it was. It makes me laugh a bit. People thousands of years ago would have never thought the future would be like th Heart Beat - Ch. 3

Again, sorry it took so long for me to post Chapter 5 of Heart Beat. I've been sort of busy with Christmas and all ^^; So I'm finishing Ch. 6 soon and I'll see where that takes me from there. I have no idea how long Heart Beat will be or exactly how it will end but we'll find out when we get there xD Enjoy and thanks for reading!

1) How did Ridley escape from the tower?
2) What happened to Ray when he went through the black hole?
3) What was Ridley's fortress?
4) What new element did Ray receive for his Bounty gun?
5) What is Ridley planning to do?
